Do you fancy a job at Nottinghamshire Police? These roles are up for grabs

Ever thought about a career at Nottinghamshire Police?

Well, now is your chance, as a number of jobs at the force are up for grabs just in time for Christmas.

The roles range from just under £20,000 to £55,000 and the jobs include police and safeguarding officers as well as clerical positions.

The first roles up for grabs are for serving police officers - constables, sergeants and inspectors to transfer to Nottinghamshire Police.

Roles in fraud, financial investigations, cyber crime and public protection are available.

There is also a chance to join the firearms, dog handling and road policing unit.

Roles range from £24,177 to £55,767.

The force is also looking for a financial investigator to look at serious crime in the organised crime unit.

You will look into money laundering and the cash seized by criminals. The role has a salary of £30,951.

There are also a number of support roles up for grabs including a support officer at Sherwood Lodge and a site services assistant in Arnold.

The police are also looking for a detention officer at the city's Bridewell custody suite, booking in suspects, fingerprinting and drug testing detainees.

The force is also looking for a cadet coordinator to run and plan its Police Cadet Programme, recruiting and mentoring police cadets.
