Do you fancy a job at Nottinghamshire Police? These roles are up for grabs

Ever thought about a career at Nottinghamshire Police?

Well, now is your chance, as a number of jobs at the force are up for grabs.

The salaries range from just under £20,000 to nearly £40,000 and the jobs are not just for those wanting to become police officers.

The first one up for grabs is a call handler, where you will answer emergency and non-emergency calls.

The job advertisement states it is "a rewarding career" at the "heartbeat of the force."

The role pays up to £22,883.

The force is also looking for a taser instructor, teaching officers how to deploy the kit.

The successful candidate will be part of the armed policing unit and can earn nearly £33,000.

A new role has also been set up in Arnold for a 'Designing Out Crime Officer.'

The role is to advise and influence the design of roads, homes and other premises to prevent crime from occurring.

There is also a number of clerical roles and engineer jobs up for grabs.

The force is also looking to recruit more police officers especially those who wish to join Nottinghamshire Police from another force.
