Do you agree with a third lockdown? Have your say on England's new Covid rules

Mirror readers are being urged to tell us what they think of the latest lockdown in England.

The survey asks whether they agree on a whole string of new rules which come with the newly announced lockdown.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation through a televised statement last night saying "tougher" restrictions were needed to halt the spread of a new mutant of the virus which is up to 70 per cent more transmittable.

England's third lockdown in just ten months comes as the UK hit a new record today with more than 60,000 infections recorded.

It will last till mid February and see the closure of schools, gyms and the hospitality sector.

Clinically vulnerable people must stay at home and leave only for medical appointments and exercise, the government said, while holidays are outright banned.

Weddings are only allowed in "exceptional circumstances" where one person in the couple or both are terminally ill.

Funerals have a 30-person cap on them.

The starting fine for those found in breach of anything that is legally permitted under the new restrictions is £200.

The survey allows you to have a say on different parts of the lockdown.

It runs till Friday morning and results will be published in the paper and online over the weekend.
