Do the Titans have interest in signing Ndamukong Suh?

Even with the 2019 NFL Draft over and the first splash of free agency in the past, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is still a free agent.

There’s been a lot of buzz about the potential of Suh landing with the Tennessee Titans, but that scenario may not be plausible.

For one, the Titans are already very familiar with the lineman and know exactly what he would bring to the table.

Team reporter Jim Wyatt said earlier in the year that the team didn’t need to “kick the tires” on him again after previously having conversations with him.

“The thing about Suh is the team really doesn’t need to kick the tires on him again. They spent time with him last offseason, so they kind of know what they’d be getting,” he wrote.

Heading into his 10th NFL season, Suh totals 479 tackles, 56 sacks, one safety, 32 passes defensed and one interception.

The fact they have met with him and have still gone this long without striking a deal implies it probably won’t happen.

On top of this, Titans insider Paul Kuharsky recently said the Titans aren’t in the running for Suh because he isn’t a “scheme fit” for the team. He added that the Titans didn’t have a lot of interest even after the talks with him last year, either.

So while anything could still happen and the idea of adding Suh to the Titans’ defensive line seems intriguing, the possibility of it ever coming to pass continues to look even more unrealistic.
