A pair of con artists are out to get money
In the new comedy movie The Hustle, Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway play a pair of con artists plying their trade in a stunning seaside town in the south of France. Josephine Chesterfield (Hathaway) is a glamorous, seductive Brit with a huge home in Beaumont-sur-Mer and a penchant for taking money from wealthy men from all corners of the world. Into her world bursts Penny Rust (Wilson), an Aussie who is as fun-loving as Josephine is calculated and cunning. Where Penny gets her cash by ripping off men in neighbourhood bars, Josephine fills her safe with massive diamonds after ripping off guys in expensive casinos. Despite their different methods, both are masters of the art of the con. They team up - and compete - for a huge con job - to swindle a naïve tech billionaire.
