DK Metcalf to throw out first pitch at Thursday’s Mariners game

From his shirtless interview prior to the draft, to reports his route-running is considerably better than people think, to glowing reviews from Tyler Lockett and Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf has taken the Seattle sports world by storm.

The rookie wide receiver’s next task is to conquer the baseball diamond.

A tweet from T-Mobile Park, the home of the Seattle Mariners, indicated Metcalf and a few other Seahawks rookies will be at Thursday’s game against the Orioles and that Metcalf will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Metcalf and the rest of the Seahawks are enjoying a six-week summer break. They will report to training camp on July 25.

The practice dates open to fans have been announced and ticket sales will start on June 20. Click here for more information and to secure your spot.
