DJ Jazzy Jeff says coronavirus-like symptoms caused him to forget 10 days of his life.
Will Smith’s longtime friend spoke to the actor during an episode of Smith’s remote Snapchat show, Will From Home.
The DJ explained he felt sick after returning from a trip and experienced symptoms that resemble those of coronavirus, although he couldn’t get tested.
“I came home from my trip, you know, I feel like I’m coming down with something,” he said.
“Got into bed – don’t remember the next 10 days. My temperature had reached about 103°F. I had chills, I lost smell, I lost sense of taste.”
While he never was given a test, DJ Jazzy Jeff says a chest X-ray showed pneumonia in both of his lungs.
Smith said the DJ’s wife Lynette C Jackson had called him “with the panic vibes” around that time.
Both men formed the duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince in the Eighties and Nineties.
