One of the most important parts of any wedding reception is the music selection, especially if you want people to be dancing and having a good time long into the night.
But one bride and groom have been left outraged after the vibe of their wedding was completely ruined by their DJ - after he decided to stop his collection of wedding classics to play his own music.
A guest at the wedding revealed that the DJ had been playing mainstream popular songs for most of the reception, but chose to switch things up when debuted his own single, which the guest described as "awful".

The woman said the song "completely changed the tone" of the reception, and said she and the other guests were forced to listen to it for almost four minutes before the DJ switched back to the usual hits.
In a post on Reddit, she said: "Nothing out of the ordinary from the wedding we attended as guests last night except for when everyone was dancing and the DJ stopped the mainstream popular songs playing for his world debut single.
"It was god-awful, completely changed the tone of flow for the people who were dancing, and we had to listen to it for close to four minutes.
"I'm pretty sure the DJ saw the visible reaction the crowd has as he went right into playing Pitbull once his trash song finished.
"Needless to say, we would have been super p***ed off if our DJ did this."
Commenters on the post were gobsmacked by the DJ's decision to play his own song at someone's wedding, with many of them saying it would have given them "secondhand embarrassment" if they'd witnessed it themselves.
One person said: "Awful for the bride and groom! Also sounds like something you would see in a movie, that situation is comedy gold. In reality, it would give me terrible second-hand embarrassment."
While another added: "What did he think would happen? Even if his song was sort of good it's not like people take kindly to this sort of thing. He absolutely deserved the negative reaction."
And a third wrote: "Cringe level is high but I respect the hustle."
Not everyone was against the DJ though, as some said they wouldn't have cared if their DJ played his own music at their wedding, as it would at least make for an even more memorable night.
Someone stated: "I'm sorry, but I would've found this cringey but hilarious! Even as the bride I wouldn't have minded. It gives guests something to talk about."
As someone else said: "This is something I would laugh about and move on. If it ruins my wedding it probably wasn't a good one anyway."
