A DIY savvy mum transformed her baby's bedroom into a jungle-themed haven using materials she picked up from bargain shops.
Leanne Worthington "put her DIY skills to the test" to create a "subtle" jungle theme after failing to find exactly what she wanted in home decor shops.
Posting on the DIY On A Budget Facebook page the mum revealed how she created an animal-inspired chest of drawers using cheap jungle toys in B&M which she spray-painted them gold - and the effect is amazing.

She also showed off her incredible creative skills making a changing basket from a length of rope that cost just £20 from eBay and made a replica basket of one she had seen for £60.
The mum also made cute jungle-themed pictures from free wallpaper samples she picked up at B&Q and bargain picture frames from Ikea.

She said: "Put my DIY skills to the test for my nursery - I wanted a subtle jungle theme and was adamant I wanted to to the handles. Amazing what a can of gold spray paint can do!
"I saw {a basket} online for £60 so I made that one myself with about £20 worth of rope from eBay."
Listing the products and method she added:"Paint - English Sage by Wilko

"Drawer knobs - b and m animal toys sprayed gold and a hole drilled in the back."Mirror - rattan from the range around an 8” embroidery hoop and glued to a mirror.
"Pictures - Ikea frame with wallpaper sample from B&Q and smaller animals from b and m pack sprayed gold and glue to front of frame.
"Changing basket - 8mm hessian rope and a glue gun just wrapping it around itself to create a base and then work up the sides and add handles
"Vase - Bacchus cherry beer bottle (quite thick and sturdy glass) with raffia cord hot glued around the top."

The results left other mums inspired with the post getting almost 300 comments.
