DIY giant B&Q says remaining list of UK stores will open in 'early May'

B&Q has updated when its remaining 141 stores will reopen.

The DIY chain shut its 296 UK stores when the coronavirus pandemic hit - later launching a click and collect service.

It has now reopened 155 stores around the UK - but there were still more than 140 units that remain shut.

The brand has now updated shoppers and reassured them it won't be long before they open their doors.

A B&Q spokeswoman said: "We plan to open the remaining stores across the UK by early May.

"We are reviewing the current openings before making any decisions about the specific timings of future openings."
