Diwali is a time where a number of religions celebrate good conquering evil.
The Festival of Lights sees worshippers honour Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, with hope for the year ahead to be a prosperous one.
Diwali itself sees a countless number of festival events and street parties, with a number of delicacies being enjoyed.
