A glamorous divorcee says she's having the best sex of her life in her 50s with men up to two decades younger than her.
Tara Nightingale, 52, from Essex, says she's bombarded with messages from toy boys vying for her attention - and she's often confused for a woman in her 30s.
She said: "I think the reason they're attracted to me is because I don't look my age and I'd say I have the physique of a younger woman.
"When I tell them my age they think I am winding them up. They can’t understand how a woman my age can be sexy still."
Tara, who was married for 24 years, got divorced in 2019. She described he marriage as "unhappy" towards the end, after tying the knot at 26.
"I was completely devastated," she said.
"But now I can see that the ending of that relationship has given me a new lease of life. I realised that time is precious and that I needed to make the most of my life.
"It was now or never and I needed to get out."
At first, Tara was terrified of being single in her 50s and the thought of dating apps filled her with dread. After more than two decades of not dating or kissing anyone, she says dipping her toes back into the dating world was her "worst nightmare."
But she added: "After my marriage ended, I knew I needed to change my mindset and I started to work on myself. My confidence kept growing until I felt like a whole new woman with a whole new life."
Since becoming single again, Tara is having the time of her life and enjoying the company of much younger men in their thirties and early forties.
She said: "My dating and sex life is the best it's ever been. Until I got out of my marriage, I never realise how much younger men craved older women.
"It's been a massive culture shock, but I love it. Who wouldn't enjoy having all these younger men thinking you're attractive?"
While Tara enjoys her new "fun and crazy" lifestyle, she says she'd like to settle down and meet Mr Right at some point. But for now, she's happy to just enjoy herself.
"I feel empowered, free and amazing about myself. I am enjoying myself more now than I was when I was in my twenties."
Age is just a number to Tara, who wants other women to feel they can do whatever they want at any age - and turning 50 doesn't mean women can't have fun.
She says getting divorced has made her take better care of herself - and she now feels more attractive than ever.
"I am more confident, self-assured and I even feel more attractive. "I never used to take care of myself and my skin. I was stuck in a rut," she said.
"But now I like to take the time to take care of myself and I love getting glammed up. Doing my hair and makeup, and putting on a gorgeous outfit."
Tara has also been doing some vintage pin-up modelling and has invested in new non-surgical procedures to enhance her appearance.
"I feel sexier than ever and I think that having younger men after me and craving me really reinforces this too.
"I have managed to turn my life around from being miserable to being a woman absolutely thriving in my 50's."
