"Every day I love him more and more."
"He's a horrible president."
Oprah got the full range of views about President Donald Trump when she sat down with a diverse range of Michigan residents, in her first assignment for "60 Minutes."
According to CBS, Oprah interviewed seven Michigan residents who voted for Trump and seven who did not during a visit to Grand Rapids last month for a segment that aired Sunday night, titled, "Divided."
"We wanted someone to go in and flip the tables," said a white male named Matt. "We're tired of the status quo."
But another member of the panel, a black male, said of Trump: "He's terrible." The president is supposed to set an example, like a quarterback in a two-minute drill, but "he's setting the tone of negativity."
Tom, a white male, said he doesn't like Trump's Twitter attacks on other politicians, but "his actions speak louder than words," and "I love what he's doing to this country."
Jennifer, a white female, disagreed.
"I feel like he's a horrible president and he has divided our nation more than it's ever been," she said.
"It's an embarrassment."
