Diversity and Next team up to launch new clothing range including collection from Ashley and Jordan Banjo

London-based dance troupe Diversity have joined forces with the retailer Next to produce a line of clothing for this autumn.

The group have created a two-minute-long choreographed video to promote the collection, which is described as encompassing everything "from relaxed tailoring and box-fresh trainers to casual separates and weather-ready jackets".

Several of the individual members have picked out their own collections in collaboration with the fashion giant, which includes formalwear, casualwear, jeans and chinos.

The Relaxed Tailoring formalwear collection invites customers to “take a laid-back approach to formalwear with sleek styles that do all the work for you: Motion Flex commuter suits with 4-way stretch, slim-fit bomber jackets and zip-neck polo tops.”

The casualwear collection allows consumers to "freshen up" their "weekend rotation", offering "elevated essentials for this season and the next, including heavy brushed-flannel checked shackets, cord trucker jackets and long-sleeve rugby shirts."

“Comfort and style; why settle for one when you can have both?” asks the Diversity X Next Jeans & Chinos Collection. “Stock up on cotton-rich jeans and chinos made to move with you, designed in a range of colours and washes to suit your look perfectly.”

Ashley Banjo’s personal selections include formal attire like the Slim Fit Motion Flex Commuter Suit and casual wear like Blue Check Shacket, Ecru Regular Fit Crew Neck T-Shirt and Grey Motion Flex Commuter Joggers.

Ashley’s younger brother, Jordan, has a selection that includes the Navy Blue Slim Fit Motion Flex Commuter Suit, Purple Lavender Plain Overhead Hoodie and Navy Long Sleeve Grandad Top.

Sam Craske, Mitchell Craske, Perri Kiely and Warren Russell have also selected clothes for the Diversity X Next collection.

Last night Ashley co-hosted the Pride of Britain awards alongside Carol Vorderman, while Diversity will be hitting the road with their “Connected Tour” in the UK from March 2022. The group hit the headlines last year after performing a BLM-inspired routine on ITV.
