Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese has a very special request she makes while on tour, as she revealed while making a pitstop in Australia for her Glamonatrix show.
Von Teese, 46, who was once infamously married to shock rocker Marilyn Manson, is currently touring Australia.
While talking to The Herald Sun (via The Daily Mail) the dancer said that she has one unusual request - perfectly ripe bananas.
It sounds like she should have visited the now-infamous $120k banana at Art Basel. Luckily, those shopping for her bananas are given a handy dandy "visual guide" so they can procure the perfect fruit.
"The funniest part about it is, we have a banana chart that shows the level of ripeness I need. There's a visual guide to buying bananas for Dita Von Teese. I know its eccentric, but it's the only eccentric thing on my rider," she promised.
And if you find yourself buying a banana for the glamour girl, here's what to look for. "I like it firm, not too sweet, and with a little bit of green," she said, so plan accordingly!
