A disturbing video of a fight at a Scots high school has left furious parents 'sickened'.
The brutal footage showed multiple students brawling in Armadale Academy, East Lothian sparking concerns from the public.
The video seen by Edinburgh Live saw students try to batter each other by yanking hair, kicking, and punching classmates.
Edinburgh Live reported a school insider claimed the attack was a one-off and the school has done an 'immense amount of work' to change its image.
The clip showed at least two students scrapping and all appear to be girls attacking each other on campus.
The shocking clip sparked concerns from parents that an incident like that could happen during a school day.
Some parents labelled the incident 'sickening' and called for action to be taken.
In previous years there has been a history of anti-social behaviour and bullying within the school.
But recently, efforts are understood to have been made to ensure the school is a safe place for all the pupils with this incident branded an 'isolated' incident by the insider.
Parents of children that attend the school, however, have expressed their concern after the footage was circulated online.
A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of footage currently being shared on social media involving Armadale Academy pupils.
“This was an isolated incident and does not represent the safe and supportive environment of Armadale Academy in any way.
“Appropriate action has been taken by the school over the incident, and it is not appropriate to comment further.”
