Disturbance breaks out on Falkirk street leaving woman injured as emergency crews rush to scene

A woman's has been injured after a rammy broke out on a street in Falkirk last night.

Emergency services rushed Hamilton Street in the Camelon area at around 8:20pm on Wednesday December 22, following reports of a disturbance.

Around six police vans and an ambulance were spotted in attendance.

Reports also suggest armed police were also spotted nearby.

The 18-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.20pm, on Wednesday 22 December, 2021, police received a report of a disturbance in Hamilton Street, Falkirk.

"Emergency services attended and one person was injured.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
