People going to to view a house going to auction have been warned of distressing scenes inside.
Images of the three-bedroom property in Llandudno, which has gone up for sale for just £80k, show each room to be swamped with rubbish or caked in dirt and grime, resulting from years of obvious neglect. Pics of one bedroom show a heavily stained mattress and a dresser table full of unopened cans of beer, while the kitchen is dirty and cluttered and the toilet is smeared with faeces and urine.
The back garden, meanwhile, is overgrown with weeds and brambles and strewn with black binbags and litter. Allsop LLP, the agents handling the property, even state that it's "strongly encouraged" that all viewers wear "appropriate PPE (mask and gloves)" when attending viewings, before adding that anyone showing symptoms of coronavirus will be denied entry.
The house will be open for viewing every Monday and Wednesday before the auction on March 31. Allsop has also reassured potential buyers that the house will be cleaned up and cleared of all rubbish and unwanted items when the sale of the site is completed, North Wales Live reports.
Overlooking the large Llandudno Rugby Field the address stands only minutes away from the A470, giving direct links to the A55 expressway. There is also an extensive range of local shops and amenities available within the nearby town.
The majority of similar sales in the surrounding area over the last year have fetched an average price of £180,000. According to the Land Registry the property was last sold in early 1998 for £36k.
