Distraught Glasgow mum begs for answers as teen son missing for two nights

A distraught Glasgow mum is begging for answers after her teen son vanished.

Reece Khan, 14, has been missing for two nights from the Bernard Terrace, Bridgeton area after being last seen around 12.45 on Monday.

His mother Annmarie Newton appealed directly to the schoolboy saying "please come home" as police frantically search for him.

Annmarie shared a post on Facebook saying: "My son Reece Khan has went missing again.

"He was last seen in Bridgeton.

"He’s mixed race, 5ft 3inch, brown eyes, brown skin and he’s wearing green blue Nike tracksuit, black and grey Mackenzie wind blower jacket and black Nike Air Max trainers.

"He’s been missing since 12:45 yesterday and  police  are out looking for him if everyone could share please. "

Reece is known to spend time on Duke Street at Alexandra Parade and at the Forge retail park in Parkhead.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a 14-year-old boy missing from the Bernard Terrace area of Glasgow who was last seen around 12.45pm on Monday, 22 June, 2020. 


"Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information relating to this should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 3756 of 22 June."
