Distraught family issues desperate plea to find missing Devon man, 32, who has links to Bristol

The distraught family of a missing Devon man has issued a desperate plea as the search for the 32-year-old enters its third week.

Much-loved Shaun Brown disappeared from his home address in Kingsteignton, Devon, on Thursday, March, 18.

A major search operation - including police helicopters, divers, coastguard teams - was launched but no one has yet to uncover his whereabouts, reports Devon Live.

Shaun's belongings were found by a dog walker on the day he went, but no trace of him has been found since.

It's understood that Shaun has links to the Bristol area.

His heartbroken sister Laura Vickery said: "There are no updates, unfortunately. We have hundreds of people actively searching for him, but we have found nothing. The police are still carrying out their searches also.

"My dad is 72 years old and he's reliving the past as my older brother disappeared in 2002, under completely different circumstances.

"It's breaking us all. I do want to thank everyone for all their help and plead with everyone to not forget his face and to still please help me find him.

"He's not in any trouble. We all just want him home."

Shaun was last with their dad on the evening of March, 17.

Laura said: ''When my dad woke up the next day he found the front door key which had been posted through the letterbox by Shaun - this isn't anything unusual.

"But on Thursday police contacted dad because Shaun's belonging's were found by a dog walker.

''They were found where we scattered my mums ashes. His phone and his tobacco were found. His wallet is at my dad's house.

''Someone was seen on CCTV where he would be walking at around 1.15am on Thursday, but we have still heard nothing."

Shaun is described as a white male, 6ft 3in tall, with short dark hair and a beard.

Anyone who sees Shaun, or has information on his whereabouts, is urged to call police immediately on 999, quoting log 200 of 18/03/21.
