Distraught dog owners desperate to find missing pooch who ran off after attack in Strathclyde Park

Two dog owners have issued a desperate plea for help in tracing their missing dog who was last seen in Strathclyde Park.

Debbie Lang and John are offering a £500 reward to anyone who can help with the safe return of timid Shar Pei Nala who ran off in the park after being attacked by another dog.

Nala is said to have ran away injured and in fear as a result of the attack on March 17.

The appeal has been widely shared on Facebook and Twitter as the local community rally round to help raise awareness of Nala’s disappearance in the hope she can be traced safe and well.

Debbie and John have been repeatedly sent an image of a dog in front of a red car which they insist is not her dog Nala.

The dog in the photo, uploaded by Danielle Lee Churchill, was in Wales and is now in a rescue centre.

Nola has apparently been spotted Airbles road Motherwell and behind a Co-op store in Newmains, however these sightings have not been confirmed as Nala.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with the owners. Their contact details can be found in the Help find Nala Facebook group .
