Police are hunting thieves who stole a distinctive three-wheeled scooter in Dundee.
The theft happened outside a property in Linlathen in the early hours yesterday morning.
Owner Sarah Duff posted pictures of the grey, Yamaha trike on Facebook in the hope of making it too hot to handle for the thieves.
She wrote: “I hope my scooter is unique enough that someone may have seen it.
“It was stolen from outside my house after midnight last night.
“It is the only scooter to my knowledge with 2 wheels on the front please share as this my only mode of transport.”
And speaking to Dundee Live earlier today, she said the scooter was her lifeline, adding: “I have had it 14 months. I use it to commute about Dundee and to visit my mother.
“The theft was reported to the police as soon as I realised it was missing at about 7.10am yesterday morning.”
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
