Scots teenager missing in Fife found safe and well

A Scots teenager who was reported missing from home has been traced safe and well.

Ryan Fernie was last seen on Wedderburn Crescent in Dunfermline heading towards Abbeyview at around 4pm on Thursday. He hadn't been seen since and worried cops, who have been scouring through CCTV, appealed for information.

But it was confirmed on Friday evening the teen had been traced.

A statement said: "With reference to our earlier appeal to trace Ryan Fernie, 15, who had been missing from Dunfermline, please note that he has been traced safe and well.

"Thanks for your assistance."
