A 'disruptive and drunk football team' were detained by police following a flight from Bristol Airport to Alicante.
easyJet told Bristol Live the passengers were consuming alcohol on board which they had bought before the flight.
Bristol Airport recently banned travellers from drinking duty-free alcohol on flights, after an increase in booze-related incidents.
This group became so disruptive, Spanish authorities met them as they landed at 10.50pm on April 6.
It is believed the passengers were part of an amateur British football team consisting of 25 members, according the Mirror.

The airline spokesperson told Bristol Live: "easyJet can confirm that the police were called to meet flight EZY6075 from Bristol to Alicante on 6th April on arrival to assist with a group of passengers who were behaving disruptively during the flight.
"The passengers were escorted away by the police.
“Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive, threatening or disruptive behaviour.
"It was reported the passengers were drinking their own alcohol onboard. For the safety of all on board it is illegal for passengers to drink alcohol purchased in the airport during the flight.
“easyJet’s cabin crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other passengers is not compromised at any time.
“The safety and wellbeing of passengers and staff is always easyJet's priority.”
It is understood there were no arrests following the incident.
