Disruption after broken down train between Glasgow Central and Cardonald

Rail passengers are facing disruption in and out of Glasgow this afternoon.

A broken down train between Glasgow Central and Cardonald is causing all services from Glasgow to and from Ayrshire and Inverclyde to be disrupted, with a number of trains suspended.

ScotRail has said that engineers are having difficulty attaching the rescue train, meaning 'all stops' services from Ayrshire and Inverclyde will terminate and start back from Paisley Gilmour Street.

Tickets are being accepted on First Glasgow buses between Glasgow Central & Paisley Canal and Paisley Gilmour Street.

For all updates on services, follow ScotRail across their social media channels.
