Ashley Cole hasn't exactly been Mr. popular amongst Arsenal supporters since his move to Chelsea in the summer of 2006.
And his comments about Alexandre Lacazette and Gunners legend Ian Wright will hardly improve the already strained relationship.
Speaking ahead of his former club's 1-1 draw against Leicester City, Cole said that the current Arsenal number nine - who scored in the 2-0 win over Wolves last weekend - reminded him of Wright.
"Lacazette reminds me of an Ian Wright-type of striker," Cole said on Sky Sports.
"I think they’ve got that connection, the understand together (Aubameyang and Lacazette) and with Saka on the other side, I think them three are very, very dangerous."
Whilst Bukayo Saka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang combined to great effect for the opening goal against the Foxes, it turned out to be a difficult night for Lacazette.
He missed a great chance to make it 2-0 by putting a free header straight into the arms of Kasper Schmeichel - who also denied him with a stunning stop - and then had a goal ruled out for offside.
But the overriding moment from the game is Cole's comparison.
As expected, there was a massive response to those comments with many Arsenal fans in disbelief that Cole would compare Lacazette to the legendary Ian Wright.
Furthermore, even rival supporters were bemused at the comparison

Lacazette's time at Arsenal could be numbered if recent reports are to be believed.
According to French outlet L’Équipe, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are interested in luring the French forward away this summer, and have opened discussions over a possible deal.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan have also reportedly sounded out Lacazette as they plan for the possible departure of Lautaro Martinez.
