A disqualified motorist was caught driving 50km/h over the speed limit on a major motorway.
Gardai nabbed the reckless Mercedes driver who was speeding down the M11 motorway at 171km/h in Gorey, Co Wexford.
The cops then arrested the driver and seized their vehicle.
A tweet on the official Garda Traffic Twitter account, alongside a photo of the speed gun, read: "Gorey RPU: Car detected at 171km/h on M11 Motorway at Gorey.
"Driver disqualified. Car seized and driver arrested."
