A driver found themselves in hot water after gardai discovered that they had not paid their motor tax for over two and half years.
Gardai made the discovery after stopping a car in Weston Park in Dundrum yesterday.
The motorist was found to be disqualified and the mobility app showed their tax had expired 945 days ago.
And to make matters worse, the driver was found using three fake discs in the window.
Officers arrested the motorist and took them to Blackrock Garda Station.
A post on the Garda Traffic Twitter page reads: "Gardaí in Dundrum stopped a car at Weston Park yesterday Mobility app showed the tax expired... 945 days ago!
"Driver was also found to be disqualified and had been using three fake discs in the window. Arrested and taken to Blackrock Garda Station."
