A driver was arrested in Rush after gardai found that their car was out of tax and NCT for over four years.
Officers in Lusk stopped the vehicle after using the mobility app to make the discovery.
It was then uncovered that the motorist was disqualified and to top it all off, they had no insurance.
The car was seized by the authorities and the driver was arrested.
A garda spokesperson said on Twitter: "While Lusk Gardaí were on patrol in Rush recently, they stopped this vehicle after it was discovered via the mobility device that the car was out of tax and NCT for 1590 days.
"The driver also had no insurance and was disqualified. The vehicle was seized and the driver was arrested."
