The Guardian's main business story is inevitably the Gate Gourmet story, as is everyone else's - they didn't make an announcement as planned yesterday so we can expect some more grand-standing and maybe an announcement today. Clearly there will be full analysis on all of the websites when something happens. The BBC confirms talks will resume probably about now (he says, checking his watch).
In the Daily Telegraph there's the story of the guinea pig farm forced to close by protestors stealing the remains of a deceased relative - that's the way to get sympathy for your cause, turn the entire country against you. The Telegraph also reports on a flood of cheap labour from the former Soviet Union, and speaking of foreign matters The Independent has more on those Chinese textiles that could leave small traders with no stock.
There were other small snippets. Yesterday's Evening Standard had warnings about business insurance for the smaller trader. The BBC has bad news for DVD retailers as there's now no ageement on what the next generation of DVD technology should look like.
Oh, and if you ever needed proof that you'll never get away with a too-good-to-be-true promotion, then MacWorld has a story with the OFT stamping on one of them.
