Concern is growing for a British grandfather who has been missing in Benidorm for more than three days.
Phil Pearce, 68, was found "disorientated and confused" in the Spanish city after he was released from hospital at around 3am.
Somerset Live reports members of the man's family have travelled to Benidorm in a desperate search for him.
Phil's worried granddaughter Charlotte Dyer said: "Unfortunately we haven't heard anything yet.
"Phil's son Lee has been phoning hotels and hostels. We've been trying hospitals, police stations and anyone who may have seen him."
Severe storms have lashed parts of Alicante this week, and Phil's family fear the grandfather may have been exposed to them.
Charlotte, who has two children, has used Facebook to extend her search.
The 24-year-old, of Bridgwater, Somerset, said: "There are bar owners in Benidorm that have seen our appeal on Facebook who are helping as well.
"I'm not normally one for Facebook but in this case it's been the best thing in terms of getting the appeal out there, and the more help that we get, the better the chances we have of finding him.
"We're just trying to cling onto some hope.
"Anybody who is going to Spain, preferably Benidorm, or anybody who lives there or is currently staying there, my stepdad's father has gone missing and has been missing for the last 48 hours."
She said police found Phil "disorientated and confused".
"If you see him please stop him and help. He has got memory loss, and his name is Phil. He currently has no idea where he is, or no identification.
"He's well known in Bridgwater and everybody says he is a lovely, kind-hearted man.
"He went on holiday a few days ago with one of his friends," the mum continued.
