Disneyland Paris to open Avengers Campus for superhero fans in summer 2022

Disneyland Paris is set to open its highly-anticipated Avengers Campus in summer 2022, amidst its 30th anniversary celebrations.

The resort's Walt Disney Studios Park will welcome the brand new Marvel inspired offering complete with new attractions, restaurants and 'heroic encounters' with beloved Marvel heroes - and it's going straight on our list of new theme park openings in 2022 to get excited about!

An Avengers Campus already exists at the Disney California Adventure Park in the USA, which features a Spider-Man themed ride and a 'Pym Test Kitchen'.

The new Avengers headquarters will follow the recent opening of the park's new Marvel themed hotel, which first opened its doors last year.

Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is decked out to look like a huge art gallery, is home to one of the largest collections of Marvel artwork in the world with everything from life-size Iron Man suits to Captain America's iconic shield. (In fact, there are over 300 items on display).

Then of course there are plenty of luxurious rooms, superhero themed suites, and other perks such as a swimming pool inspired by New York's world-famous subway and the Marvel Design Studios where children can learn to draw their very own comic books

As well as the Avengers Campus, there's plenty to get excited about at Disneyland Paris as it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

In fact, the resort has revealed its exciting plans for the milestone which include brand new shows, decor, new outfits for Mickey and friends, and heaps of themed food, drinks and merchandise for fans to discover.

Highlights will include a brand new daytime show in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as new Disney D-Light which will take place right before the iconic Disney Illuminations evening show, and feature over 200 drones creating some special effects.

Meanwhile, theme park goers visiting Disneyland will be able to explore brand new attraction Gardens of Wonder with its 10 different themed gardens in front of the castle, filled with 30 art sculptures celebrating iconic Disney and Pixar characters.
