Disneyland Paris has released its first ever Christmas advert.
The 60-second mini 'film' explains why the amusement park lies at the heart of Christmas magic.
The enchanting tale begins on a starry night 'a long, long time ago' Santa perfected the formula for the magic of Christmas, which he called The Elixir'.
The potion was so powerful that even a single drop had astonishing powers. He then entrusted his best elf with the task of sprinkling the golden liquid all around the world to share Christmas joy.
However, putting the potion into the hands of a mischievous elf meant the mission didn’t quite go to plan.
After becoming captivated by The Elixir’s magic the elf accidentally falls from the sky into a pile of powdery snow, cracking the bottle in the process with the liquid seemingly lost forever.
However, all is not lost as Christmas magic starts to transform the town to reveal the creation of the ultimate Christmas destination - Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris is currently hosting a Frozen 2-themed event based on the launch of the new film starring Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Trips to the park to see the Frozen 2 attraction are priced from £159.99 for transport via the Eurostar, two nights accommodation and entry to the park.
