Disneyland Paris gives tickets update following closure

Disneyland Paris has officially closed it's doors following the coronavirus outbreak.

With thousands of customers usually expected across the Easter break and May half term holidays, many ticket holders will be wondering when the park will re-open and if they can still use their purchased passes on future dates.

Although no official date has been given the park's statement says: "As a result of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and in line with government measures, Disneyland Paris will remain closed until further notice".

This was last updated in early April, with the park now offering customers to choose alternative dates if their original tickets were for any time from now until June 30.

If you've purchased just park entry tickets for dates until June 30, such as 1-Day/1-Park tickets and 1-Day/2-Parks tickets and Super Magic, 2-Day/2Parks, 3-Day/2Parks, 4-Day/2Parks then you are now able to visit the park on dates until March 30, 2021.

The tickets will automatically be extended, but if you have an e-ticket you must download it before its initial expiration date and present it at the entrance of the park the day you visit.

For those who have paper-based tickets you are able to present it at the entrance during your visit. For both paper or e-tickets your newly chosen visit date must match the ticket type indicated in the calendar here.

If you have dated Group Tickets booked by group operators for a visit during the closure period, your tickets will either be cancelled and refunded or rebooked at the same price subject to availability for a new date of visit for the group operator, but you should contact your group operator for further details.

Meanwhile if you've booked a package holiday with Disneyland Paris - including park passes and hotel stay - for dates while the park is still closed then you're entitled to receive a voucher valid for 18 months for the full amount of payment already made for your booking.

For more information head to the Disneyland Paris website here, or contact your travel provider such as Expedia, AttractionTix or 365Tickets.
