Louis C.K. has been scrubbed from the TV show "Gravity Falls" after he admitted to acting sexually inappropriate toward women.
The comedian, who was accused of masturbating in front of women and over the phone, has been redubbed in reruns from the Disney XD show "Gravity Falls," according to Entertainment Weekly.
"The role was rerecorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world," a spokesperson for the Disney Channel told EW. "Series creator and executive producer Alex Hirsch is now credited as playing the character."
C.K. voiced "The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity" on the series. He had two appeareances including "Weirdmageddon: Part 1" and later, "Weirdmageddon: Part 3" in 2016.
The new dialogue was reportedly recorded last month and replaced all recordings in reruns, according to the AV Club.
The 50-year-old was accused by five women of sexual misconduct in the New York Times in November, which led to an immediate cancellation of his upcoming film and TV projects.
In response to the accusations, C.K. admitted, "these stories are true."
"At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my d _ k without asking first, which is also true," he wrote. "But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn't a question. It's a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly."
