Disney's the Lion King has Hakuna Matata themed menu in a Dublin Hotel

Ever wanted to feel like you’re in Pride Rock with Timon and Pumbaa? Well now is your chance as a Dublin hotel has had a Hakuna Matata makeover.

The Lion King has an IMDB rating of 8.5, two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes, that's been adapted into the most successful West-end musical of all time which is now on stage in Dublin.

The Marker Hotel is celebrating the arrival of Simba, Mufasa, Nala and even Scar in the Bord Gais.

They’re offering Disney fans some cool Lion King themed food and drink.

Little clubs can enjoy the Simba Kids menu at Brasserie and The Marker Bar. There’s even a mud bath themed dessert which is mouth-watering chocolate with an edible image of Simba and African animal jellies on the side.

For the big lions, there’s a cheeky Tiki Cocktail with non-alcoholic options also available.

The drinks are named after the beloved characters, like The Rafiki, The Mufasa and of course, The Simba.

And those wanting to make a night of it, there's also the The Lion King Stay and Dine Package which includes dinner for two guests before heading next door to The Bord Gais Energy Theatre.

After the show, you can head to bed during your luxurious overnight stay and get breakfast the next morning with complimentary use of the spa and wellness centre - meaning no worries for the rest of your days.

You can book by calling 01-6875100 or you can email info@themarker.ie.
