Disney On Ice is returning to Liverpool and here's how to get tickets

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are returning to Liverpool next year as Disney On Ice presents Magical Ice Festival skates into the M&S Bank Arena.

Magical Ice Festival will showcase Disney ’s most beloved heroines and their faithful companions with energetic choreography that will have audiences singing and dancing.

From March 26 - 29, 2020 families will be able to relive the magic of their favourite Disney animated films .

The awe-inspiring show will give audiences the chance to see how far Moana will go as she embarks on an action-packed voyage with Maui, see Anna help Elsa on her journey to stop an eternal winter and relive a tale as old as time as Belle meets the Beast.

Nicola Feld, producer of Magical Ice Festival, said: “The most exciting part of bringing characters like Anna and Elsa to the ice is knowing that they have a powerful and inspiring message the resonates with audiences as the sisters discover the true meaning of love.

“As parents, we strive to find role models who will empower our children to find their inner strength and believe in themselves”.

A cast of world-class skaters will once again showcase their talents, giving audiences the chance to see Ariel transform from mermaid to human as she dangles 35-feel over the ice.

Rapunzel’s golden hair will be made of 2,000 feet of silk, winding through the rafters of the arena and draping onto the ice to be used in heart-stopping aerial displays.

Patty Vincent, director of the show, said: “Audiences will be entranced as they watch Ariel pulled upwards and then rapidly twirl above the ice.

“We wanted to capture the moments and attributes that truly define these beloved characters and we’ve really done that through these stunning athletic performances.

“That’s what makes Magical Ice Festival different, we selected iconic scenes and then took our time on the details to create truly awe-inspiring performances.”

Presale tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, October 11, while general sale begins on Friday, October 18.

Tickets can be booked via www.disneyonice.com and www.mandsbankarena.com .
