Disney On Ice at Liverpool M&S Bank Arena cancelled due to coronavirus

Disney On Ice at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena has officially been cancelled.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse were set to return to Liverpool next week in a Magical Ice Festival show, but now the highly anticipated performances are the latest to be cancelled due to concerns over coronavirus.

Families were due to see Disney’s most beloved heroines and their faithful companions at the arena next week from March 26 - 29.

The M&S Bank Arena confirmed the cancellation via Twitter and said: “Due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 and expanding restrictions on travel, and in accordance with national and local governments recommendations against large group gatherings, @ DisneyOnIce presents Magical Ice Festival scheduled on 26-29 March has been cancelled.”

The arena has also confirmed that ticket holders will be informed via email and refunded automatically.

Among the other cancellations at the M&S Bank Arena are David Gray, The Who, Rick Astley, and the 2020 Gymnastics British Championships.
