There’s exciting news for Disney Magic fans after the cruise liner announced short staycation cruises from the UK this summer including a Liverpool departure.
You can set sail on a Disney ‘staycation at sea’ for two, three or four nights.
There will also be sailings departing from London Tilbury, Newcastle and Southampton, with cruises exclusive to UK residents.
Disney Magic is inviting people to embark on the new experience, which keeps you close to home while at sea.
On board, passengers will be immersed in Disney’s famous storytelling, with plenty of themed entertainment, dining and recreation for all the family.
You will be able to meet and take pictures with characters including Disney princesses, Toy Story and Marvel heroes, and Captain Mickey.
Disney stories will come to life on stage and there’s playgrounds, movies, and video games for the kids, plus spa facilities and cocktails for grown ups.
Health and safety measures will be in place in line with latest guidance from the UK government, health authorities and medical experts.

Bookings for sailings in summer 2021 are expected to begin in April, when the government confirms the next step of the roadmap out of lockdown. You check the Disney Cruise website for updates.
Disney Magic has visited Liverpool in recent years and attracted visitors to the Pier Head while docked in the city. Children have been able to go down and meet Disney characters at the events, which have included a dazzling fireworks display.
Last year the ship was due to visit in September but the sailing was suspended due to the pandemic.
