Disney Magic returns to Liverpool with a Magic on the Mersey party for all the family

The Disney Magic cruise ship returns to Liverpool this week and it’s celebrating with a huge party.

The cruise ship, which has 11 decks, holds 1754 passengers, 915 crew and is almost 1,000ft in length will be making its fourth journey to Liverpool on Friday, September 13.

The enormous vessel will be docking at Liverpool Cruise Terminal between 7:30am and 6:45pm.

Cruise Liverpool is hosting a special, family-friendly party called Magic on the Mersey to celebrate.

Magic on the Mersey will be completely free of charge and take over Princes Parade, bringing it to life with a vibrant and colourful street animation programme and free face painting.

Guests can expect to see performances from the Adam Brown Dance Company, Movema, Pagoda Arts and more.

Little ones are encouraged to dress up as their favourite characters to enjoy the party.

The ship is expected to depart Liverpool at 6:45pm, with a special choreographed quayside concert and confetti show to see the ship off to begin at 6pm.

Last year, Disney Magic was welcomed to the city with a Magical Garden Party and saw thousands visit the waterfront to watch a huge firework display as it sailed away.
