Disney Magic cruise ship has arrived in Liverpool as part of its ‘staycations at sea’ tours around the UK.
The cruise liner announced earlier this year a series of short staycation cruises departing from several UK ports for two, three or four nights at a time.
It’s the first time Disney Magic has been in Liverpool since September 2019. The cruise ship was due to visit again last September but the trip was cancelled due to the pandemic.

This year UK passengers were able to book a stay on the family friendly cruise with sailings departing from London Tilbury, Newcastle and Southampton, along with Liverpool. The liner has 11 decks and is almost 1,000ft in length.
The new experience was launched as a way of allowing people to enjoy Disney Magic at sea, while staying close to home. On board, Disney stories will come to life and families will have access to playgrounds, movies and video games, spa facilities and themed entertainment on stage.
There will be opportunities for those onboard to meet and take pictures with Disney heroes including its famous princesses, Toy Story and Marvel characters and of course Captain Mickey.

Health and safety measures will be in place in line with latest guidance from the UK government, health authorities and medical experts.
In previous years when Disney Magic has visited Liverpool, the ship has attracted visitors to the Pier Head while docked in the city. The events have included a fireworks display and children have been able to meet Disney characters.
