Disney+ Hawkeye sees Northern Irish actor cast as villain in new Marvel TV series

A Northern Irish actor is set to appear in the upcoming Marvel series Hawkeye.

Scheduled to premiere on November 24 on Disney+, the six-episode series will see Jeremy Renner return to his role as former Avenger Clint Barton.

The show will follow Renner's character as he passes the torch to a new young archer Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld.

The casting for the show also includes Dungannon born actor Fra Fee, who is set to play a villain in the series named Kazi.

Best known for his role as Courfeyrac in the 2012 adaption of Les Miserables , as well as his appearances in recent Irish films such as Animals and Boys From The County Hell , Fee's new role is set to be one of his biggest to date.

According to ScreenRant, Fra Fee's character is a "brutal Polish mercenary Kazimierz “Kazi” Kazimierczak, also known as The Clown. A violent criminal with a troubled past, Kazi has previously crossed paths with Hawkeye in the comics with disastrous results."

The trailer for the new series first aired on America channel ABC this week. In it, fans can see a glimpse of Fra Fee at the 11 second mark.
