Disney have released the recipe for their famous Dole Whip and it's so easy

With the weather being so nice this Easter weekend, and us all stuck at home, what better time to whip up some frozen treats.

Thankfully Disney is already on the case and has released, for the first time ever, the recipe for its delicious Dole Whip treat.

Dole Whip is Disney's official frozen dessert which is only served at their Disneyland theme parks and resorts - Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.

It was first introduced in 1986 at the Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland in Disneyland, and has been loved ever since, reports the Mirror Online.

But if you haven't had a chance to taste one, now is your time, and all you need is three ingredients.

To make your own version of the tasty classic, you'll need a big scoop of ice-cream, 120ml of pineapple juice and two cups of frozen pineapple.

Then, all you need to do is throw all of the ingredients into a blender and mix until creamy.

The consistency of the final product will depend on how closely you follow the quantity of ingredients, and you can alter this to your taste.

If it's a little thicker pour into a bowl and eat with a spoon, or with a little more pineapple juice enjoy it as a thick slushy-style drink.

The Dole Whip that is made in the Disney parks is non-dairy which means it's vegan.

So, there is always the option to swap out the regular ice-cream for a non-dairy ice cream alternative.

And, in some spots across the park, you can find an 'adult' version, which contains rum, so experiment as you wish.
