Disney gives Camp Rock fans a major nostalgic update ahead of premiere

  • Disney confirmed that Demi Lovato will reprise her role as Mitchie Torres for a brief cameo in Camp Rock 3, which debuts this Thursday.
  • Lovato, previously announced only as an executive producer, reunited with co-stars and fellow executive producers Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas at the film's Los Angeles premiere on Monday.
  • The third installment follows Connect 3 as they return to Camp Rock to find an opening act for their reunion tour, introducing a new generation of campers.
  • Maria Canals-Barrera will also reprise her role as Mitchie's mother, joining new cast members Liamani Segura and Malachi Burton.
  • Director Veronica Rodriguez noted that the film carefully balances honoring the original legacy characters while allowing the new campers to take center stage.
