Disney fans can stay in a cottage inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Disney fans can live out their own fairytale-inspired staycation thanks to a cosy cottage inspired by the company's hit film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

In fact, the owners of the aptly named 'Snow White's House' have tried to recreate the charming woodland cottage where the dwarves live, and where Snow White temporarily stays before heading off into the sunset with her Prince Charming.

Located in the Welsh village of Felindre, north of Swansea, the quirky home really does look like something out of a fairytale, although it isn't affiliated with Disney itself.

The staircase has been decorated with wooden heart shapes like those in the animated film, furniture has been picked to match as closely as possible, and there are extra touches such as wooden beams and a grandfather clock.

Oh, and like Snow White, you'll be surrounded by spectacular woodlands; the house is in its own 200-acre garden grounds and woods.

You can even channel the Disney princess and hang out with the animals - there are sheep, alpacas and emus which are known to roam the grounds.

Other highlights include a cosy log-burner for colder days, and a patio for those warmer summer evenings. The house is also located near some fishing lakes, or there is also a beach a short drive away.

Unlike Snow White, you won't need to share the cottage with seven other people. Instead, the charming home sleeps up to two people, making it ideal for couples who are after a romantic retreat.

Feeling tempted? You can book Snow White's House on Snaptrip, with prices starting from around £205, based on two people staying for two nights in October.

Don't be disheartened if you can't quite make the stays work for your chosen dates. The good news is that there are plenty more fairytale-esque stays in the UK.

For example, there are heaps of UK castles you can book (whether with friends or for a romantic getaway), or there's even a Rapunzel Tower that makes for a quirky getaway.
