Disney fans are going wild over massive 40,000 piece puzzle that's perfect for lockdown

With the UK still on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people are staying home to help save lives.

As a result, some might be feeling pretty bored right now, while they're unable to go about their daily lives.

There are many things you can do at home to keep busy, from arts and crafts to learning something new - like a language or turning your hand to baking.

But if you'd much rather do something simpler, why not have a go at a puzzle.

We recently saw people go wild over the world's largest puzzle which was being sold by Kodak and now a giant Disney one is also doing the rounds.

The full puzzle is massive (Ravensburger UK)

The massive Disney movie puzzle has over 40,000 pieces and would be the perfect entertainment for a Disney fan during lockdown - perhaps while you stream Disney+ in the background.

It's description online reads: "This giant puzzle features 10 hand-drawn scenes from iconic Disney films including, Snow White, Fantasia, Dumbo, Bambi, Cinderella, Peter pan, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King.

"Each scene is framed by a film strip indicating the film's year of release and depicting additional scenes from each movie."

And if putting the huge puzzle together weren't enough of a challenge, each of the scenes also contains a hidden Mickey Mouse symbol for fans to find.

It contains various film scenes (Ravensburger UK)

The description adds: "High quality 40000 piece cardboard jigsaw puzzle. The finished puzzle measures 680 x 192cm when complete. Suitable for ages 12 years and up. Made from strong premium grade cardboard, with linen finish print to minimise glare on puzzle image."

The only downside to the whole thing is that it's a little pricey.

Made by Ravensburger, the puzzle is currently available to buy on Amazon for £342.46, though they are running low on stock.

A message on the website says that they'll be getting more puzzles soon.

Despite the cost, many Disney fans have been raving about the puzzle, with plenty of five star reviews on Amazon.

One person said: "Me and my son built this together. Each section took about 1-2 weeks. Great puzzle, and there were no pieces missing."

Another wrote: "Completed the puzzle in full, mixing up all the pieces. Took eight months as I work full-time. Loved it, can't wait to do more large puzzles."

A third added: "Fantastic colours very big challenge started two months ago."

"I absolutely love this puzzle," commented someone else.
