With spooky season in full swing, many of us have been rewatching Halloween classics such as Casper, Practical Magic and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Another fun film to stick on at this time of year is Disney's Halloweentown (and the sequels), starring Kimberly J. Brown and Debbie Reynolds.
The film follows the Piper siblings who discover their mum and grandmother are witches and come from a town filled with magic.
A TikTok user named @lyssalyssalyssahh was recently watching the film's sequel Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge when she noticed something rather interesting.
Lyssa, a teacher from the US, spotted a Hocus Pocus easter egg towards the end of the movie.

As Sophie Piper (Emily Roeske) goes around town, undoing a spell that's been cast on the residents of Halloweentown, a witch that she helps can be seen wearing a costume that looks remarkably like one from Hocus Pocus.
The witch, with long wild hair, a red dress and purple cloak, looks a lot like Sarah Jessica Parker's iconic character, Sarah Sanderson.
Lyssa shared the find in a video, saying: "If you are a Disney fan or you just enjoy easter eggs or conspiracy theories I recommend you keep watching.
"We watched the first three Halloweentown movies this weekend, and at the end of Halloweentown II Kalabar's Revenge, I noticed something.

"Ok wait for it. Is this, or is this not, Sarah Sanderson's exact outfit?!
"Does this mean that Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown exist in the same universe? Please discuss."
More than 19,000 people liked the TikTok video, with over 340 commenting on it to share their thoughts.
One person said they'd spotted all three of the Sanderson sisters' costumes in the Halloweentown films, writing: "All three of their costumes are used in these films!!!"
"Mind blown," replied another.
Someone else who claims they'd worked in the film's costume department confirmed the easter egg, saying: "Yes, it IS Sarah Sanderson's outfit! I was part of the costume department and was reused for this movie."
A different user posted: "Hocus Pocus wasn't too commercially successful until much later. I wouldn't be surprised if they just recycled the costumes."
A fifth was shocked by the discovery, adding: "I have literally seen Halloweentown II countless amounts of times and have never noticed that. That is so her!!! Insane."
