Disney Dreamlight Valley fans, what’s up with The Storybook Vale post-credit teaser?

On July 9, the second and final part of The Storybook Vale DLC storyline was released in Disney Dreamlight Valley. At the very end, there's a short, roughly 15-second teaser that seems to be hinting at future content, but what exactly this content is is quite unclear.

This post-credit scene is fairly short and doesn't have much going on, but there are some clues hidden in it that we can analyze to predict what might be coming next. So, Disney Dreamlight Valley players, what do you think it might be hinting at?

The footage starts with a shot of a cottage in the woods. This house closely resembles the Snuggly Duckling Tavern house we can grab from the Premium Shop, but it's fairly far off in the forest, so it's tough to tell whether it is. This location is from Tangled, though, and fits with the rest of the content in this scene, so it does seem likely.

After this shot, the camera zooms out to highlight a wanted poster of Flynn, also from Tangled. It zooms out a bit further, and a horse outline appears hovering over it, which must be none other than Maximus, the loyal steed who spends the majority of Tangled hunting Flynn down.

I'll be honest: this teaser is really throwing me. More Tangled-focused content seems like an odd choice considering we already got Mother Gothel in the base game, Rapunzel in the first DLC, A Rift in Time, and Flynn in The Storybook Vale DLC, which just wrapped up.

This teaser just doesn't fit what I would expect to see for another DLC or an upcoming base game drop, and I'm wondering if that's because it's teasing something else. Perhaps Maximus will be arriving as the first mount in the game. We already have a glider system, but maybe there's going to be some kind of overhaul or expansion to it that allows us to ride certain animals around the valley.

Maybe this teaser is hinting at a continuation that links both DLCs, so A Rift in Time and The Storybook Vale can continue together. I could potentially see there being a new DLC that focuses on Rapunzel and Flynn fully reuniting and Maximus coming in as a fresh character or companion.

Or, if it is an expansion, perhaps it will focus on introducing a bunch of animal characters, which is why they chose to highlight Maximus. I could see someone like Snow White, a known animal lover, being part of an animal-based DLC, too. It could also potentially be entirely focused on sidekicks like Maxmius, and introduce other iconic ones like Pluto, Sven, and Sebastian.

When A Rift in Time ended, we got a really clear post-credit teaser that highlighted Maleficent, Hades, and the Lorekeeper, so this one doesn't feel quite right for a DLC teaser. Perhaps that's because it's not hinting at a DLC at all.

Another possibility is some kind of new DLC continuation system that builds upon these special worlds rather than wrapping them up and never touching the characters again. Since both Rapunzel and Flynn are in DLCs, they aren't as central to the valley's main storyline, so maybe the devs have decided to work in a new system that continues their storylines beyond the core expansions.

There are so many possibilities, so what do you think this teaser means? Is it hinting at another DLC, a new Realm, an added mount system, or something else? Let us know down in the comments what you think so we can discuss and theorize what might be coming next.
