Disney are coming to Dublin to hold auditions for new princes and princesses to work in their theme parks

Have you ever dreamed of being a prince or princess? Well now is your chance to fulfil your destiny.

Disney are coming to Dublin to offer the opportunity for wannabe Snow Whites and Prince Charmings to achieve their lifelong ambitions with open auditions for parks across the world.

Applications are open for a range of roles, from parade performers to male and female character lookalikes.

Recruiters are inviting applications from everywhere, as long as you have the right permission to work in the country where the park you are chosen for is situated.

The Dublin auditions will be held at Dance Ireland, Liberty Corner - Dance House, Foley Street on Saturday, June 8.

Further job auditions in Pantin, France on June 12, Lille June 14 and Roma, Italy on June 19.

Auditions will also take place throughout June in various locations to work in parks across America, Hong Kong, Honolulu and Shanghai and onboard the Disney Cruise line.

The roles offer a 'unique experience' to animate famous Disney characters, dress up, interact with guests, and participate in the destination's parades and cavalcades.

The perfect candidate will be enthusiastic and highly energetic as they are at the heart of the magic, enchanting guests every day.

There are 50 positions available for Disneyland Paris, open ended and full time as well as seasonal contracts from June to September.

Candidates should meet the below requirements.

Character look-a-likes

Females should be between 160cm and 173cm,with elegant, graceful qualities and no visual tattoos and men should be between 160cm and 183cm,with compelling masculine features and no visual tattoos.

All character look-alike performers also perform as costume characters.

Parade performers

Females should be between 137cm and 160cm and men 183cm-196cm.

All applicants must be 18 years and above and be able to speak English or French.

Hopefuls should attend the audition wearing comfortable clothing to participate in a movement/dance combination and no makeup.

Candidates should not wear street shoes or shoes with black soles and must bring a CV.

The first part of the audition is acting, the second is choreography, followed by a motivation interview.
