Disney has announced the date its Disney Store at the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds will close.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that the iconic brand was considering closing its White Rose shop. Disney has now confirmed the store will be closing and has told us when its last day of trading will be.
The White Rose’s Disney Store will close at the end of Sunday, September 5 after its last day of trading.

This follows news of Disney Store closures at Sheffield’s Meadowhall and York. It is expected Disney will shift their focus to online shopping.
“While consumer behaviour has shifted toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what consumers expect from a retailer,” said Stephanie Young, president for consumer products games and publishing.
“Over the past few years, we’ve been focused on meeting consumers where they are already spending their time, such as the expansion of Disney store shop-in-shops around the world.
